Bernice looked up the obit for Mrs. Mattie L. Sheffield who died in 1970. The cemetery book says she was born 1893, died 1970, buried in Bowen Cemetery. Here is what the obit said about survivors, etc:
The obit lists her as dau of Mr and Mrs. Daniel Bush. Survivors were: dau- Mrs Lucy Mae Rochleau, Atlanta; one son Henry O'Neal Pitts and, and one brother S O Bush, Pearson Ga and one sister Mrs Evie Stone also Pearson, Ga and 6 grandchildren.
