Can anyone help us solve the mystery of Wm A. N. Lowery? He is found in DODGE and LAURENS Counties in GA.
William Andrew Nathan Lowery (W.A. N. Lowery) was b. 3 Oct 1843 - d. 23 Aug 1920; buried in the Cedar Grove Methodist Church cemetery in Laurens County, GA. He married 1st in Laurens County to MARY A. CONEY on 21 Dec 1865 (Book H p 257); He married 2nd to SARAH J. GRAHAM on 10 Nov 1903 (Book L p 461). He served in the CSA Co. G 49th Inf. Reg’t.

Columbus - son age 11 GA GA GA

Mary V. - dau age 8 GA GA GA
Clifford - son age 6GA GA GA
Harlow - son age 4 GA GA GA
James A. - son age 2 GA GA GA
Effy S. - dau age 6/12 GA GA GA
Back Laurens County in 1888 , he is on the voters list residing in Reedy Springs.
Who are the parents of Wm A.N. Lowery? Is he the son OR nephew of Andrew Lowery and Angelany Loftin? What is his connection to the other Lowery families in Laurens, Dodge, Telfair, Montgomery, and surrounding Georgia counties?
Son, Columbus Lowery, died in the Burch District of Laurens County abt 1902. His obituary reads:
Death of Mr. C. C. Lowery - Mr. Columbus Lowery died at his home in Burch’s district, Tuesday morning at 8 o’clock. Mr. Lowery had been sick for several weeks. For awhile he was very ill with pneumonia, but it was thought that the crisis had passed. He grew worse,however, and died Tuesday morning. Mr. Lowery was about 36(?) years of age, and left a wife and children. The Courier-Dispatch expends sympathy to the bereaved ones.
