I am still seeking any information on Nicholas Rawlins m. Rosa Jane Grimsley. I'd like to know if anyone knows where his family came from before they settled in Pulaski County before Dodge County was created. My immediate family came from Dodge County. I'm a granddaughter of Miss Mollie Louise Parkerson Rawlins McCranie. She married Samuel Jones Rawlins and he died in 1933.
I can't seem to find anything. This name may have been spelled "Rollins" as per Census Records I've viewed. Supposively, Nicholas' father was John Rawlins, but don't know if John came to Pulaski County or was born there.
All of the ones I've been in contact with about this are at a "brick wall" coming to Nicholas Rawlins.
