article date January 18, 1900
Mrs alice Mcalister, wife of N D McAlister, died at her home, about 10 miles below Hawkinsville in the southern portion of the county on Sunday morning, leaving a young babe. The remains were interred in Jump's graveyard, Rev S W McAlister officiating. Her husband and several children survive her, who have the sympathy of many friends in their bereavement.....Hawkinsville Dispatch.

Then in article date July 4, 1929 N F McAlister is listed as being a pallbearer at his niece's funeral. She was Susie Corine Jones, five year old daughter of Mr and Mrs W F Jones, Eastman, Route Seven. She had died Friday morning, following a short illness of pneumonia. Her siblings listed were: Wilson, W F Jr., Bernard, Burlie, May, Lairee, Lawerence and Betty Ruth Jones, two sets of twins among them. Other uncles listed were G L Jones, W S McAlister and J L Black.

Hope this helps,
Bernice
