Could this be the Attapulgus Academy? I found a note saying that my gg-grandfathr, James E. Martin, was a trustee of Attapulgus Academy in 1841. I asked several people from the area about it but all I've asked look at me like they think I'm nuts! This must have gone out of existence a long time ago. If you learn anything about it, I'd be grateful if you'd share it with me.
