Hi James,
No, I never received a book. When the book was promoted by Ken Thomas in the Atlanta Journal Constitution in 1999, I immediately sent my check. I followed up with Sue Forrester every few months until her death. She kept promising only 6 more months, etc. The last time I spoke to her, she said the book was ready to be sent to the printers. After Sue's death, I could not find anyone who knew anything about the book at all nor what happened to the money everyone sent.
Unfortunately, we will probably never get a book or a refund. This is the first time in 30 years of genealogy that I have had such an experience. I am very sad for Dade County.
