I have that Laxton Case (b. 1818 in NC) is the father of Leonard Case, and that Leonard's mother was Nancy Free (b. 1817 in SC). Their children were 1) William Case, b. 1838, 2) John Wesley Case, b. 18 Sep 1839, 3) James Anderson Case, b. 4 Sep 1842, 4)McMillian Case, b. 1844, 5) Julia A. Case, b. 1847, 6) David Crockett Case, b. 1849, 7) James Leonard Case, 8) Jesse Laxton Case, b. aft 1850, 9) Nancy Jane Case, b. aft 1850, and 10) Patton Case, b. aft 1850. Sources I have for this information are a letter from Mrs. Neil Harris of Lake Como, FL and the 1850 census. I can't remember if they were in DeKalb County, Alabama, or just over the line in Dade County, Georgia.
