Silly me - I put Nina's maiden name, rather than married name. She was Nina Jacoway Smith. I did find the cemetery with no trouble once I got there - a nice gentleman on the square pointed me right to it.

Could you tell me where these other Jacoways are buried? I don't think they are my direct ancestors (as i found all of those this weekend buried near my Nina - I was very pleased!), but I would like to have the information for my notes. Don't go out of your way, but I do seem to remember that you have a book or transcriptions of Dade co., cememteries.

Also, do you know what organization is responsible for upkeep of the Baptist cemetery? It appeared that most of it was under perpetual care, but as the Jacoway's family plot seemed a bit older, it probably isn't. My mom was with me and was a little upset at the overgrowth, so I promised her I would check into it.
