James Lenard aka Leonard Case was said to live in Trenton, Dade Co., GA. in the 1880 census. He was married at the time to Mary Jane Jarrett. His previous wife was Nancy Jane (Nannie) Payne. I am hopeing that someone will have some information on Janes Lenard Case's parents and siblings. The census says he was a Farmer but we have always been told that he was a doctor. His daughter Nancy Helen Case is my greatgrandmother. She married James Thomas Pulley in Erin,Houston Co., TN. and she passed away in 1904. She already had 3 sons and her daughter, Nannie Lucille Pulley is my grandmother. My grandmother was born 1903 so she was raised buy James Thomas Pulley's second wife, Minnie Bell Cain. I have been trying to find information on this family for 4 years and this is all I have. I guess that is the story of our lives in the world of genealogy.
