I have just learned that my great grandparents both died in 1899 in Knoxville and are buried there. I have been trying to locate them for years, what happened to them... and now I know. Well, I know a little. I'm wondering if anyone might have any resources they could look up for me, or send me to, where I could get the exact Info... (I have their Obits coming in the mail, but not until the library gets my check first...)
They are:
JOSEPH B. STEMBRIDGE died 1899 Knoxville (he wwas born 1848 Knoxville) - he is son of James W. & Martha S. Brimberry STEMBRIDGE of Crawfd Co. --- he died either Nov or Aug 1899.
she is:
(sarah) 'AMELIA' STEMBRIDGE died 1899 Knxville... she was born 1856 AL . She wsa dtr of WM. P. PATTERSON & ELIZA/LOUISA OGLETREE. She died either Nov or Aug 1899. I'm assuming they may have had a common illness...but dont know for a fact.
ANY INFO ON THEM, OR WHERE BURIED, WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED! I do have the census with them, 1880, and they are not on 1900 of course; all their young children are shown living in Macon on 1900 with their older sister, ANNIE VERNELIA STEMBRIDGE and her hsuband FRANKLIN EUGENE BREEDLOVE.
THANKS FOR ANY HELP! (*Where*( are they buried( ??
TINA
