Thanks, Gerry. I am sure now that my Absolom Brown married Sibella Garrett. I have a copy of their marriage document and also a copy of the married document for the other lady from Crawford County. When those marriage documents were transcribed there was a mistake made. I also have a copy of the Absolom Brown, Mary Ann Isham document as well. I'll be glad to copy and mail them to you. I have been in touch with Anna Lee Peek since I posted that first e mail and we have exchanged data. She was the one who sent me the documents including all the Pension documents. I have also been in touch with a lady who has documents showing a court fight after Sibella Garrett died. She said the documents list her children. She promised to send me copies but never did. I hate to bug her. I also have a copy of the Heirs of Absolom Brown which is on file at the Mayo Courthouse. In fact, we just got back from Jasper, Florida and had every intention of going to the Brown Cemetery and the Mayo Courthouse but I came down with some kind of bug yesterday morning so we came home a day early. I have a copy too of the Letters of Administration on the Estate of Jeter Anson Hogue who was husband of Penelope Hooks. Your Hooks cousin might like that as well. Littleton Spivey Smith was Administrator and was my gr grandfather's uncle. Littleton Spivey Smith was the husband of Nancy Powell Hogue. I also have pictures of Nancy Powell Hogue if you know someone from the Hogue family who would want them. Please let me know about the copies because I will be glad to mail them.
