Samuel Davis and Family, in Crawford Co., GA, for 1840 Census

Samuel Davis was listed in the Crawford Co., GA, census of 1840, along with his wife and children. According to the number/gender/age range of all the family members, it looks as if this Samuel Davis could be my Samuel W. Davis, who was born ca 1792-1807 in NC and who moved to Georgia and married Malinda/Malena [surname unknown at present] and had the following children: William O., b. ca 1831; Susan C., b. ca 1833; and James Lewis, b. 1837 [all children b. GA]. During the 1840s the family moved to the northern part of Louisiana.
If you have information about the Samuel Davis who was listed in the 1840 Census of Crawford Co., GA, I would appreciate any information you can give me about this family.
