I am posting a response to my earlier message, to say that I have recently learned that William Hardin was the son of William & Martha "Patty" Malone Hardin; he was born 1790, Columbia County. After he married Rebecca Albritton (daughter of Lanier Albritton) in 1810, Rebecca died in Columbia County around 1815.

There is a record of a William Harden (or Hardin) marrying Sally Brave (or Braver) in Putnam County, GA on Nov 9, 1815. Was this the same William Hardin/Harden?
