I am searching for the parents/background of a Nancy WEEKS b. abt. 1838 in GA. She married James R. ALGER (often found as ALgers or Algier or Algiers) on January 1, 1860 in south GA. James and Nancy show up on the 1860 census for Colquitt County, GA; James age 25, Nancy age 22, and a 3 month old son, Emerson L.

James, along with six of his brothers, fought for the Confederacy. All but one were killed. James, husband of Nancy Weeks Alger, died March 4, 1862. I have been trying to find what became of Nancy and young son Emerson. It is likely she remarried being such a young widow. Would you happen to have the names of the 11 children of Benjamin Weeks and Sarah Harrel? Could Nancy be descended from this Weeks family?
