This is on the Tombstone! Pioneer Settler Henry Simon Gay B. 1799 D. 1857 Believed to be Buried Here In An Unmarked Grave. His Wife Jane (1800-1870) Is Buried At Sardis. Their children: Henry b. 1820; Obediah (CSA)
b. 1823; Mclundy (CSA) b. 1824; Samuel b. 1827; Abraham (CSA) b. 1832; John b. 1836; Hiram (CSA) b. 1838; Matthew A. (CSA) b. 1839; Elizabeth b. 1841; Mary Jane b. 1843. All of this was on that tombstone. This is in Bethsaida known as Bridge Creek Cemtery. There is a site that has the Sardis Cemetery dates on it. You can get Jane's dates from it.; There is a Hirman Gay b. 1863 d. 1927 buried there in Sardis. There are lots of Gays buried there. I don't know if this helps you are not. There is a Gay reunion every year in Moultrie they just had one somewhere around May or so. My Aunt was married to one of the Gays. she is still living and is 95 1/2 years old. Let me know if these are the one your searching for thanks Marie
