L. M. (Larkin) Matthews was listed in the 1900 Colquitt County, Georgia census. He was 65 years old, a physician living in a rented house. He was a CSA veteran, serving in Company C, 6th Georgia Cavalry.
His wife was Susan S. Lovelace, formerly a Bedford by a previous marriage. She was 64 years old.
I am unable to find either their grave site or death date. Others seem to believe they both died in Colquitt County.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
