Hello,
I'm looking for information on a family on the 1900 Colguitt County census for Autreyville. They are: William Sims (?)Jr. 22 year old male head of household; Sims, Bula 19 years old who is his sister; Sims, Florence, sister, 17 years old ; Sims, Nellie, sister, 13 years old; Sims, Charlie, brother, 12 years old; Sims, Jewell, sister, 10 years old; Sims, Auther, brother, 7 years old; Sims, Georgie, sister, 6 years old; Sims, Jimmie L, brother, 4 years old. Since the head of the household, William, is the older sibling to all that live in the house I believe their parents must have both died after the youngest child was born in 1896. If anyone has information on this family, I would love to learn more. I'm also interested in the turpentine production since that is where William and most of his neighbors worked.
