Hi! This message is very old but just incase you never got this--I have information on Judith Ann Gennett aka Jennett aka Jenneret.
It appears her family were French immigrants and came in to the Port of New Orleans.

I hope this helps! I actually had a French friend who looked at the name and told me it would have been spelled differently. Also try Generret, Genneret, etc.
