As far as I know, the name of the wife of Henry Crawford Tucker (Sr.) has never been found. Elisha Tucker, son of HCT (Sr.), was married to Sarah Hunter. There has been a fairly recent book published in GA which completely dropped Elisha Tucker and made HCT (Jr.) the son of HCT (Sr.)...when in fact, HCT (Jr.) was the grandson of HCT (Sr.). This is a case where "senior" meant "elder" and "junior" meant "younger," not "father and son." The Henry Crawford Tucker buried in Bridge Creek Cemetery is HCT (Jr.), father of 32 children. According to "History of Colquitt County" by W.A. Covington, Bridge Creek Church, or "Bethsaida," was organized bewteen 1834 and 1837, so I'm not sure there was even a cemetery there in 1832.

I have more and will be glad to share, if you would like.
