Hi Shirley,
Just finished reading your success story posting that lifted my spirits--------thank you for posting.
Have been researching my tri-racial line of WEEDEN,WHILDEN,
WEELDON/BROWN for 13yrs w/o making ANY CONNECTIONS, nor has
ANYONE acknowledged kinship to my line.
I cannot find ANY in cemeteries nor in obits----WEIRD!!!
Find the DRAYTON surname connects as it is listed on an FBR
record w/ONE of 33 various spellings of the surname---off the top of my head, think it is WHELDEN, BUT have seen the
surname listed as WHELDON,WELDON,WILDEN,WHEEDON,WEEDEN.
If anything here is of interest, PLEASE contact me.
Sincerely,
carol wheeldin warren.
