Little River GA, where is it?

I am searching for a community that in the 1850-1860 time period was called Little River, GA. One of my ancestors told the Confederate hospital officials in Richmond, Va that he was from Little River, GA. when they buried him, that was all they knew about him. Is or was that a community that still exists?
