I am researching the Waldrop famiy.They lived in Clayton County until 1861 when they moved to Haralson County.In my research I have found the first Sheriff of Clayton County was a J.H.Waldrop from 1859/1860,does anyone have anymore info on this?After my James Henderson Waldrop moved his family,he went back to Clayton County with two older sons and they enlisted in the Confederate Army.Thanks in advance!
