What was his wife's name? I have two pictures of hotels from ft. gaines around 1890. one has a woman standing out front. Maybe one of these is the hotel he owned. I looked thru my cemetery records and don't see a William. Did he move away from Ft. Gaines to another county?

Also, the genforum site is sometimes a little slow to upload information because there is only one person who is handling several counties. I submitted them on Wednesday, but it could be a few days or weeks before the administrator of the site loads them. If you send me your email, I can send you the scans of the book directly.
