I am looking for anyone that might be descendents of the William M. and Martha Larah GARDNER family. They moved to Fort Gaines,Clay County, Georgia sometime between the 1860 and the 1870 cenus' were taken. Family Info is as follows:
William M Gardner-born 26 May 1818-Ga--died 16 Sept 1884, Ga.
Martha Larah ? 1820,Ga-- 2 aug 1888, Ga.
Children:
Mary Elizabeth 14 Feb 1841
Wm. J. M. 15 Jul 1843
Frank (Francis) M. 26 Oct 1884
Eli J. 14 Aug 1847
Susannah Rebecca 15 mar 1850 14 Oct 1926
Martha Larah 1 Nov 1852 9 Jan 1926
Mary 1868

The daughter Martha Larah is my great grandmother. I would love to find more info on the parents and other siblings. I suspect that Wm J. M and maybe Eli J may have served in the civil war. Family records have that Eli died in 1864, but not further info. I don't seem to find either of these two sons after the civil war. I will be happy to share info that I have. Thanks
Sharon Long Starling
