I am trying to find out information about my gg grandmother and grandfather. His name was Mathew Augustin Phillips, Jr. He was Elizabeth's second husband. Her name was Elizabeth Virginia Jane (either Phillips or Davis). She married an Owen before Matthew because the marriage certificate (I found it in Troup County Georgia Archives) for Mathew and Eliza has Mrs. Eliza Owen listed as her name.

I would like to find out her maiden name for certain. If possible I would appreciate it if you could find out if there is an Elizabeth Davis or Phillips that married an Owen in Clarke County around 1850.
