Hi Sandra,
As a resident of Clarke County for the past 20 years I was surprised to learn when researching my lineage that I had relatives here around 1800. Seven generations up in my family tree is revolutionary war soldier Benjamin Hodnett who moved to Clarke County from Virginia around 1802. Supposedly three of his children: John Wyatt Hodnett, Elizabeth Hodnett, and Frances Hodnett were married in Clarke County before 1810. Does your book show any record of this? Thank you for your help!
Scott Hodnett
