Laura, My Ggrandfather was William P. White's brother. His parents are William Henry Harrison, born 12/1843 and Dicy Matilda Grin ,born 9/1842,(this name Grin is the one given in the marriage records).They were married 8/26/1859 in Cherokee co., Ga. They moved to Pinelog ,Bartow co.,Ga. between 1880 - 1900. their children are.
Henry Harrison White, b. 6/1864; married to Mary Victoria Hufstetler,12/12/1884, buried in the New Prospect Baptist Cemetery, Rockmart, Ga.( My Ggrandparents)
Thomas N. White,b. 6/1864
James S. White, b. 11/1865
Newton A. White, b. 2/1886
John Lewis White, b. 1870
Mary L. White, b. 3/1873
William P. White, b. 12/1878
From Pinelog the Whites moved to Rockmart, Ga. sometime after 1900. I am still working on this side of the family. I will be happy to share what I have. I have some pictures and other info. My e-mail is wa4dyk@bellsouth.net
