My grandmother, Carole McCollum and I are interested in finding info on our Cherokee ancestors. She mentioned just this afternoon that Ridley was the maiden name of a grrrreeeeat grandmother. It was very interesting to see a McCollum and Ridley post here. I was wondering if there might be any relation. My grandmothers mothers name is Hattie Leola Nelms (later McCollum). We have family mainly in the Ga area where Hattie spoke fondly of "Spring Place" in Ga. Any info would be helpful. Thanks!
