My Moore family as they appear June 6 1880 in Sebastion
co Arkansas, cole township:
John A. Moore W M 54 farmer S Carolina
Mary E. Moore W F 52 hswf S Carolina
John H.(or K) W M 25 schoolteacher Georgia
Mary C. W F 20 "
Sallie W F 18 "
Addie W F 14 "
George W. W M ll "

( Mary C.s name was Mary Clementine, called Clem or Clemmie
and she was born in West Cartersville Ga. and her mothers
maiden name was Yeargin. Records do differ on whether the
moores were from NC or SC)
My father often spoke of Hackett, Ft Smith and Van Buren so
I suspect family lived in those places. Mary C. Moore and
Joseph E. Whitehead were married at Hackett and I have thier
marriage lisc. obtained at the Lower Sebastian Co Courthouse
at Greenwood.
