Sarah Black Wickett Smith b. 10-30-1846 d. 12-1-1899 in Cherokee County, GA. She married John Benson Knox b.2-16-1839 d.10-29-1915 in Cherokee County. They got married in Feb of 1880. He is the son of Joseph Knox and Malissa Brooke Knox. All 4 of them and many other Knox's are buried in Knox Cemetery in Cherokee County. I would be glad to send you a copy of what I have on that line. Joseph knox was the first school teacher of Cherokee County. And Malissa's father John Prescott Brooke's was the first Sheriff of Cherokee County. This line is covered extensively in the Cherokee and Bartow County Heritage books.
