I need help in contacting some of the descendants of John H. Biddy who was born Oct 29, 1853 and died Mar 18, 1949 in Cherokee County, Ga. at age 96. John Biddy was a son of Elias Wattus Biddy, Sr. and was a Baptist minister and pastor. Among others, he pastored Mill Creek Baptist Church in Cherokee County for several years. He is buried at the Trippe cemetery in Cherokee County near the Mill Creek Church just north of Woodstock.
Specifically, I am interested in contacting John's grandson Allen Bryant and his son, both of whom live in the north Georgia area. Allen's Bryant's mother was Alma Martha Biddy Bryant, a daughter of John Biddy.
I am also interested in contacting Yvone Marie Reece Cotton and husband Lanny. Yvone is a great granddaughter of John Biddy.
John H. Biddy was my great-great Uncle being the brother of my great grandfather Elias Watus Biddy, Jr. I have pictures of him at a Biddy family reunion in 1942 and as a boy, I attended some of Uncle John's annual birthday dinners in the 1940s.
Any help in locating these or other descendants of Uncle John would be most appreciated. Please contact me through the forum or directly at my address below.
