J.W.G. RUDD was shown on the 1850-60 census records for Cherokee County. He was born about 1813, in North Carolina, and his wife ? was born about 1815 also NC. I believe he may have had another wife born ? in Virginia. His 1st son was HENRY CLAY RUDD, b. 1839, GA.There were possibly 7 other children, all born in GA. The occupation of JWG RUDD was listed on on census as 'grocery dealer'. Can anyone give me more info on JWGR. Anything appreciated. Also email at ronpres@yahoo.com
