HELP-HELP: Need any information you may have with regard to my g-g-g-grandfather, Elisha Dooly b Nov. 17, 1804; d April 19, 1875. He is buried at Holly Springs Baptist Church cemetery, Paulding Co. GA. The first account I have of him is the 1827 Land Lottery of GA, 61st Day's Drawing-May, 16th;Habersham-page 189; Captains District:Kenzies; #171 Dist.#29, Lee County. 1832: He is listed as casting a ballot on Monday Feb. 6th in an election held at the house of Ambrose Harnage. 1834: He is listed in census by Abraham C. Avery on the white population of Cherokee Co. 1st April 1834 as head of household + 5. His Wife is listed as Nancey (Nancy). Would like to know her maiden name,mother & father etc. her birth was abt. 1800. Need Elisha's father & Mother & any other children. Any Help would be appreciated.
