William and Suzannah son William James Riley Hogan(b. 3-7-1846 d.1-19-1939) was my great grandfather. He left Cherokee Co. after the Civil War and taught at Woodlawn School in White Co. Ga. One of his students was Rebecca Emelee Louvada McKinney(b. 8-24-1856 d. 9-19-19xx). He married Rebecca. He was the father to Johnny, Billy (both died as infants), James Osbourne "Ob"( 6-1878); Arthur (1881); Mary Lula (March 1883); Robert Neal(9-28-1884; Willis Claude(11-1886);Joseph H. (2-3-1889 d. 12-6-1965); Fannie Dora (3-1891); Thomas Watson 8-21-1893 d. 6-10-1893(Father's Day); Balus Mckinney ( May 5, 1897) ,Nora Maude (1903); and Willie Mae who died as a small child. My line is through Thomas Watson Hogan. Named after his Uncle Thomas Hogan and his Uncle Watson McKinney. Mr. Watt (my grandfather) had eight children, my dad is the youngest son. I believe all the Hogan's of White Co. Ga. to be through the Riley Hogan line.
