Mr. Gibson, I can not help you with the Thompson connection. However, I am a decendant Susan's brother, William James Riley Hogan. He was named after his father William, his grandfather James Hogan. My father says the Riley is from his uncle Riley Wooten. Do you have any info on the Wooten side of the family. I know the Hogan's lived on what is know know as Hogan's pond Road in Cherokee County.
