I am trying to find information on the LOCKLIN family in late 1700, early 1800 Georgia. In the Tax Digests for 1793 in Chatham Co. I find James LACHLAN (Little Ogeechee), Thomas LACHLAN (no district) and William LACHLAN (Savannah). I believe these 3 men were related, quite possibly brothers James LOCKLIN, William LOCKLIN and Thomas LOCKLIN who were later found in Columbia and Walton Counties.
