Episcopal Girls Home

In July 1896, my grandmother was admitted to the Episcopal Girls Home. Reportedly the child of Florence and Albert or Lester Hodges, she was admitted by her mother. It was stated that her father was deceased. In the 1900 Census for Savannah, Chatham Co., GA this Home was apparently located at 309 Liberty in an area of Savannah which might have been known as Carry or Curry. She left the Home around 1908 or 1909, marrying my grandfather in Oct 1909. As late as 1981, this Home still had Board members tho the scope of the Home had changed somewhat, and it apparently functioned to help deserving female students.

I would like any information concerning the present status of this Episcopal Home for Girls, any records that may be searched. City directories for the Hodges family, any state Census records that cover the time frame of 1890 to 1900. Whatever will give me a clue.

Thanks.
