Lavender - Chatham Co., GA 1790's

I am looking for Benjamin Lavender who I find in the 1800 census for Sumter Co., SC. I have not found any records of him prior to this. There are 2 Benjamin Lavenders in the Tax Lists for Chatham Co. in the 1790's. Does anyone know who they are or where they went from there?
