The New Liberty Cemetery is located one mile west of Graysville, GA just off Graysville Road om Wooten Road. The church was organized Aug. 4, 1852. The church burned when a Union soldier dropped a gun in a fire which exploded and killed the soldier. The cemetery is well kept and enclosed by a chain link fence.

This is a quote from the book "Catoosa County, Georgia Cemeteries and Genealogy" compiled and edited by Louise Baxter and published by the Catoosa County Historical Society.
