The Georgia Vital Records Death Index Register records the county of death as Baldwin County, Georgia and the county of residence as Troup County, Georgia. If you want a copy of his death certificate go here: http://health.state.ga.us/programs/vitalrecords/death.asp. There is a good chance that it will have the maiden name of his mother if the informant knew the name.

Note: According to the Georgia Death Index his father's middle initial was "C." There was a Wiley J. Cash in the county who married a Nancy Greene on November 14, 1861. He appears in the 1870 and 1880 censuses of Carroll County and is buried at the Whooping Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. His Confederate military marker dates are 1818 - 1892. It's possible that this Wiley J. was the father of Wiley C. The death certificate of Wiley C. might have that information. Wiley C. died in Troup County, Georgia.
