Benny,

You must be referring to the three volume abstract of Deed Books A - G published by Mary Word in the early 1990's. To my knowledge there is only two index "books", a grantor index register and a grantee index register arranged alphabetically by surname and covering all recorded deeds since 1827. The 1827 - 1934 indices have been microfilmed.

The third volume by Mary are Deed Book E, F, and G and covers 1843-1855. Out of your list of names only Elisha Barber had recorded real estate transactions. There were three, two involving Land Lot 111, 5th Land District (this lot is in Sand Hill). On 3 April 18 he bought the north half of the lot for $180 except one acre "where John W. Carroll lives." The transaction was recorded 8 November 1851 on page 610 of Deed Book F.

The next transaction involved the east half of Land Lot 53, 6th Land District. He bought this parcel on 17 November 1851 for $800. The transaction was recorded 20 November 1851 on page 626 of Deed Book F.

The third transaction again involved a part of Lot 111, 5th Land District. He sold 40 acres for $165 on 2 December 1852. The transaction was recorded on 8 December 1852 on page 115 of Deed Book G.
