I don't know what information you have but the following may prove useful:

As shown on the Georgia Death Index:

Bill F. Helton died 12/26/1968, age 89, in Carroll County, Georgia.

Allice L. Helton died 8/12/1949, age 70, in Carroll County, Georgia.

You are encouraged to get a copy of the Georgia death certificate for both.

n addition to other items that may be of interest such as cause of death, the Georgia death certificate has fields for the father's name and mother's maiden name. This is provided by the informant for the certificate, usually a family member, but it will have the information only if the informant knows. The Georgia Vital Records Service website at http://health.state.ga.us/programs/vitalrecords/death.asp has details on ordering a copy via mail.

William F. Helton is shown on the Social Security Death Index (SSDI) and his Social Security Number is given as 258-80-7987. You are encouraged to obtain a copy of his Social Security SS-5 Form, Application for a Social Security Number. It will have the father's name and the mother's maiden name and the applicants place of birth. This information is furnished by the applicant.Go to http://ssdi.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/ssdi.cgi and enter his Social Security Number. When the details appear, go to the right side under "Tools" and click the letter/envelope icon. The letter that appears gives specific instructions for ordering a copy of the SS-5 Form.

This is not available for Alice Helton since the mechanized SSDI system did not begin until about 1963.

Both are buried in the Concord United Methodist Church cemetery in Hickory Level, Carroll County, Georgia. An abstract of the tombstone inscriptions:

William F. Helton B. Dec 8 1879 D. Dec 26 1968

Lilla Pierce Helton B. May 18 1879 D. Aug 12 1949
(I suppose her maiden name was Pierce. I did find a marriage for a Billie Helton and Lilla Pearce in Carroll County on Aug 19 1896).

There is an Allice L. Pearce, age 1, enumerated in the 1880 Carroll County census as the daughter of John M. Pearce.

William F. Helton was most likely born in Coweta County, Georgia. The SS-5 application may confirm this.

Marion Grady Helton and his wife are buried at the Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in Carroll County. The inscriptions:

Marion Grady Helton B. Mar 11 1900 D. Nov 4 1990

Essie H. Helton B. Mar 29 1903 D. Jun 2 2000.

I am not related to these Hiltons.
