This may be a stretch, but Charles Luther Faulkner had a son Nathaniel that was born in either Vance Co., N.C. or Forsyth Co, N.C. My notes show that he was born circa 1911. Nathaniel's aunt Elizabeth "Lib" Faulkner Dockery stated that her father and mother kept Luther's children, Nathaniel and Ethel, for a while and then they were sent to a foster home. Lib stated that Nathaniel died of cancer in Florida.

Does any of this sound familiar? Do you know Nathaniel's county of birth or the names of his parents or any of his Faulkner relatives?

John
