Schools of Calhoun County 1870

My maternal great grandfather, James Arzo Bell, was a school teacher in 1870. I believe he is listed as John O. Bell on the 1870 Calhoun County Census. He had married my great grandmother Martha Jane Bass Bell on Jan. 12, 1870 in Randolph County, GA. On the census, she is listed and her age is correct. I know that James Arzo died c. 1876 and is buried in an unmarked grave at New Hope Cem. near Coleman. Martha's father was James Calvin Bass who was the minister at New Hope. I would appreciate any help on the schools of Calhoun County 1870.
