Seeking descendants of James Gray, born c.1790. Married Elizabeth Knowles, Feb 21, 1820, Hancock Co. GA. In Newton Co. 1826. Won #186/11D-1827(Dooly Co., later Crisp Co.). Lot noted 1839/40 on Hancock Co. Tax Digest. Also, on brother-in-law Timothy Johnson in Hancock. Gray later lived Marion, Sumter, and Baker.
