Josiah Henry Wallace ( Wallis ?) 1805 Burke County
Posted by: Morgan Wallace (ID *****7588) Date: July 24, 2013 at 08:23:12

Hello All.
I've been trying for countless years to crack this mystery. Josiah is my direct great-great-great-great-granddad.

He was born somewhere in Burke County, reportedly 10 June 1905, sired many kids and moved West. He married Irena KIDD. His first-born was Daniel Wesley Wallace, etc.

It is just possible that his parents or further back, were Wallis line instead, but, I can't find any data.

With the censuses from back then destroyed, I've never been able to track down his parents or possible siblings.

Can anyone help?

I'd genuinely like to learn about my family history, where we come from, etc and this is the only way to do so.

Cordially, Morgan A. Wallace
