Caroline, thank you for that info. I had found those names in the census records and have not followed up on them. This Martha L Tindal may be the one I am looking for. Other references I have seen indicate that her family may have moved to Missouri. One thing is for sure.......my mother, aunts, and uncles all remember being told that there ancestors came to the US from Austria sometime in the mid 1800s. Since the Kimbrells (Kimballs) and Murrays have been found here in 1799, I have assumed that it was Luraney's family. A family of Tinleys have been found in Missouri that came from 'Black Forest' in Bavaria. I have reached dead ends there. Now i will see what I can find for Everett (my gr fathers brother was Jeames Everett Kimbrell) Tindal. Thank you!
