Hi Dale, hoping you receive this, along time since you posted. I'm researching my Stewarts who may have been in Burke Co GA late 1700s.

My 4th great-grandmother, Mary Stewart (b abt 1779 SC) married William Griffin abt 1800 Burke Co GA. Mary also had a son prior to marrying Mr Griffin; Hiram Stewart b 1795-99 SC/GA.

Hiram Stewart was on the tax rolls for Perry County MS 1820 and 1830, along with him was also a Reddick Stewart. So if Reddick is related to my Hiram Stewart, I'm assuming there was a Stewart/Reddick connection some where along the way. But, I have not been able to find one.

I do know Mary's husband, William Griffin, was associated with the Iveys.....she and Mr Griffin moved to Washington Co AL (MS Terr) very early 1800s.

Would you have knowledge of such a connection....any tidbit would be appreicated.

Thanks, Lynda Stewart Misner
