I have also been researching the Roberts and Wallaces (Wallises) of Burke Co., GA. I have Elisha's father as Frederick Wallis and his mother as Gilleny Roberts. I don't have any other info right now. I have just begun to research this line myself.

I am looking for a Frederick Roberts who married Angeline Douglass. Angeline's mother is reported to be Sara Wallace. Frederick and Angeline Roberts moved to Wilkinson Co., Ga about 1805. The land that Frederick owned became part of Laurens Co. when Laurens was formed in 1807. If you find any info regarding Sara Wallace and her husband, Unknown Douglass, please keep me in mind. I will pass along any info that I find regarding Frederick Wallis and Gilleny Roberts to you. Take care.

Lisa
