David, thank you very much. Here's what I have: William F. Whitfield (son of Lewis Whitfield Sr & Unknown) b. June 17, 1805 in Burke County, Georgia and d. June 20, 1831 in Burke County, Georgia. He married Nancy Fryer b. December 20, 1805 in Burke county, Ga. They were married June 12, 1827 in Burke Co. Ga. All of this information came from the Whitfield Family Bible. I don't know the names of Nancy's parents. I think her father might be John Fryer but I don't have anything definitive to support that.
William and Nancy had: Benjamin Elbert b. May 26, 1828 in Burke Co and married Rhoda Hill. George M. T. Whitfield b.
November 9,1829 and married Ann Boyd, Catherine Unknown and Lena Yeomans. Last son was William F. Jr. b. August 5, 1831 and died October 1, 1832.
After William Sr. death, Nancy married Benjamin Davis Hill and had about 10 children by him.
I'm wondering if John Fryer (son of John Fryer and Winnifred Fenn) is Nancy's father. I just can't seem to find enough to put it together. Any help from you, is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mary Ellen
